The Stripe alternative for merchants processing $10M+ a year

For merchants processing $10M or more a year in card payments. What changes is the price: transparent interchange-plus pricing from a licensed processing partner. What doesn't: your stored cards, your subscriptions and your customers' checkout.

If you process $10M+ a year on Stripe's standard pricing, a cheaper alternative is interchange-plus pricing from a licensed processor, where card costs pass through at actual cost and the markup is fixed and visible. We find that pricing, negotiate it for your volume and manage the switch, including migrating stored cards from Stripe.

A factual comparison of Stripe's standard plan with what we arrange. Stripe also offers custom pricing to larger merchants, which may differ.

What you keep when you switch

  • Stored cards. Card data can be migrated from Stripe directly to the new PCI-compliant processor, so customers don't re-enter details.
  • Recurring billing. Subscriptions are mapped to the new setup before anything moves, so renewals keep billing on schedule.
  • Checkout experience. Your checkout is updated by your team and tested on the new processor before live traffic moves.
  • Reporting. Settlement and statement reporting from the processor, with interchange itemized, so finance gets more detail than before, not less.
  • Your Stripe account. Keep it for some products or as a backup, or close it later. It's your call.

When staying on Stripe makes sense

We would rather tell you now than after an analysis.

  • You process well under $10M a year. Standard or lightly negotiated Stripe pricing is hard to beat at that size. Start with negotiating Stripe fees.
  • You depend on Stripe-only products. If Connect, Billing, Tax or Terminal are central to how you operate, the engineering cost of replacing them can outweigh the saving. Moving only card processing for part of your volume may still work.
  • Your card mix is mostly premium and international. The gap between a flat rate and interchange-plus narrows. The analysis will show it.

Why merchants switch to us

Why break out.

  • Lower total fees

We compare everything you pay, not a headline rate. If the proposal doesn't beat your current total, we'll say so.

The comparison covers card rates, international and currency surcharges, add-on products, refunds and disputes, on your real card mix.

  • Pricing you can audit

Interchange, network fees and markup shown as separate lines, so your finance team can check every statement against the agreement.

When interchange rates change, you see it on the statement. The markup stays exactly what was agreed.

  • A number before a commitment

The analysis is free. You see current and proposed costs side by side before you talk contracts.

Use it to switch, to negotiate with Stripe, or simply to understand your costs.

  • A switch plan in writing

Who does what, in what order, with test steps and a cutover your team signs off. No surprises on the day.

Stored cards move directly between PCI-compliant providers, and subscriptions are mapped before anything changes.

  • One person on your account

A named contact who knows your volume, your integration and your history. Not a ticket queue.

We stay on after the switch to review statements and flag pricing drift.

How switching works

Four steps: send three months of statements, get a line-by-line analysis in about 5 business days, decide with no obligation, then switch on a written plan that your team tests before any live traffic moves. Many merchants move in stages. The full process, including card data migration and a timeline, is on switching from Stripe.

Questions about switching

Do I keep my Stripe account?

Yes, if you want to. Many merchants keep Stripe running for some volume or products while moving the bulk of card processing. You can close it later, or keep it as a backup.

Do you replace Stripe completely or partially?

Either. Some merchants move all card volume; others move one business line, one region or a share of traffic first and expand once results are proven. The analysis shows the saving for each option.

What happens to stored cards, integrations and recurring payments?

Stored card data can be migrated from Stripe to the new processor. The transfer happens directly between the two PCI-compliant providers, so card numbers never pass through us. Recurring payments and integrations are mapped in the switch plan before anything moves, so subscriptions keep billing on schedule.

When should I stay on Stripe?

If you process well under $10M a year, or rely heavily on Stripe-only products, staying and negotiating is often the better move. We will tell you if the analysis shows that.
